Engineeringsupport.eu signs new contract with SAUDI ARAMCO TOTAL REFINING & PETROCHEMICAL COMPANY (SATORP). We will be providing all SPI (Smartplant Instrumentation) administration support for the complete Satorp project. Daily support for all execution EPC centres (10+), imports, administration tasks, custom reports etc.

The refinery in Jubail will produce some 400,000 b/d for the export market. It is expected onstream by 2012-13 (the original date was 2011). Total signed a MoU for the project in 2006, with costs then being estimated at US$9 billion. An IPO of 30% is expected in future. Technip has conducted the FEED.

Today the yearly audit of our safety certificate was conducted. The audit was held by AJA registrars BV. We passed it with flying colors !

New company logo and fresh color scheme, new corporate visual identity.

Replacement of our timesheet system as per today 25-10-2010 our company timesheet system has been replaced by Timelive. This enables our employees to electronically submit timesheets and expense reports using any pc with internet connection. The old E-TIME system will be phased out over the coming period.

We are supplying on-site engineeringsupport to the NAM project in Schoonebeek (Netherlands) via Jacobs Netherlands BV. There will then be a total of 73 pumps (44 production wells, 4 observation wells and 25 steam injection wells) at 18 locations.

Facts and Figures:Currently the database has over 300.000 tagnumbers with over 115.000 hardwired IO (excluding serial data). 250+ SPI users accounts, approx. 60.000 datasheets. Database has been setup in an as-built/to-built mode, remotely availlable via citrix servers located in KSA.

Computer Design Company B.V. launches a new concept Smartplant Instrumentation for Owner Operators. Our survey has shown various SPI databases are not up to date after handover. This new concept will make sure maintenance engineers are supported in their role when it comes to using Smartplant software.

Computer Design Company B.V. signs global agreement with Heerema Fabrication Group B.V. in the Netherlands. The scope will include PDMS 3D modelling coordination, Instrument and Electrical Design including Smartplant Instrumentation (INtools) support.

One of our current projects has reached a milestone of 165.000 Instrument Tagnumbers. The IO count currently reaches the 125.000+. This single source project is executed using Smartplant Instrumentation 2007 (SPI) as the instrumentation database. The SPI database is shared globally using citrix servers. Worldwide 180+ users have access to the SPI project. Intergraph Smartplant software has again proven to be a stable environment for hosting all the instrument data. Computer Design Company is providing the SPI database support for all EPC offices, we provided revision controlled reporting, interfaces to control system vendor, imports and export.

Computer Design Company B.V. started implementation of the VCU (Safety rules) version 2007.4 in order to comply with our client demands. In parallel also the registration process is started for the SVU/NEN. Our goal is to complete this whole process before 2010.

As part of the "PRIMA" package Computer Design Company B.V. will take part in the integrated team building to build a new HDS-6 unit on the Shell Pernis site.

Project : Aramco/ ConocoPhillips
Plans for this 400,000-b/d export project in Yanbu' were announced in 2005. An MoU was signed with ConocoPhillips in 2006, after tender. The project was expected to cost over US$6 billion. A 30% stake is planned to be offered to the public, leaving ConocoPhillips and Aramco with 35% apiece. The refinery, which will process heavy, high-sulphur Saudi crude into high-end products, was originally expected onstream by 2011, but this date has been pushed back to 2012-13. Bechtel is contracted for the FEED phase.

Aramco
Aramco will run this 400,000-b/d refinery in Ras Tanura, which will focus on providing for the domestic market. A part of its output is expected to be earmarked for a large petrochemical plant being built in its proximity. Completion is expected in 2012, at a cost of US$7-8 billion. WorleyParsons was awarded the FEED contract.

Jizan Export Project
The refinery in Jizan is planned as part of an industrialisation and job-creation project in the Jizan Economic City in Jizan province and will have capacity of 250,000-400,000 b/d. Chevron was involved in talks but withdrew, citing Jizan's geographical location as far from both supplies and markets. Petronas has voiced some early interest in partnering Aramco in this project during mid-2007.
