Besides our technical recruitment agency services we are also capable of handling small engineering projects in-house. INSTRUMENT ENGINEERING

Instrument Indices
Extract data from P&ID drawings into database applications like INtools, Smartplant Instrumentation or in-house developed MS Access database.

Datasheets
Filling in instrument datasheets, either manual or using extensive import / export scripts on multiple database platforms (INtools, MS Access, Excel). Development of datasheet templates using report generators (Infomaker, MS Access) or using Excel.

Process Data
Filling in process datasheets, either manual or using extensive import / export scripts on multiple database platforms (INtools, MS Access, Excel).

INSTRUMENT & ELECTRICAL DESIGN

Cable Routing
Create Cable Schedules, Cable routing layouts, Cable Cutting Schedules. We have used various engineering applications like INtools, Smartplant Instrumentation or in-house developed MS Access database. We have expertise in creating drawings using Autocad / Microstation in 2D or by a 3 Dimensional model like PDS.

Wiring Design
Assigning instruments to junction boxes, multicores to panels, interfaces wiring between Electrical / Instrumentation up till Electrical Connection Details.

Hook-Ups
We have experience in the development of process details, hydraulic details, lighting details, power details, earthing details. We utilized this using databases to extract complete material listings.

Loops
Extracting data from various engineering document and develop loop diagrams is daily routine.

3D Modelling
Using PDMS or PDS 3D model, placement of electrical & instrumentation items.

Each of the above jobs have interfaces with using databases, for each of the taks presented to us we will try to minimize the mistakes by using interface between the various datasources (eg 3D model versus vendor data).
